Mary McFarland is the Founder and CEO of Consulting by McFarland, LLC focused on providing solutions in the areas of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Human Resources. She has more than 20 years of leadership experience in Human Resources at Fortune 500 companies including Procter & Gamble, Yum! Brands, Inc. (KFC, Pizza Hut and Taco Bell), Fifth Third Bank and GE Aviation. 

 

Mary is an executive coach and DEI consultant, facilitator, and strategist. She also has a comprehensive background in corporate culture, employee engagement, change management, employee learning and development, talent acquisition, project management and organizational effectiveness.

 

Mary is committed to making strategic investments in community organizations that build inclusion and equality. She serves on the GLAD House Board, American Legacy Theatre Board, the Human Rights Campaign Workforce Equality Committee and Greater Cincinnati Human Rights Campaign Steering Committee.

 

Mary has a master’s degree in Executive Human Resource and Development and a bachelor’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Xavier University in Cincinnati, OH. She is certified administrator of the Intercultural Development Inventory® (IDI®), the DiSC® Profile and is an accredited facilitator of Individual and Team Psychological S.A.F.E.T.Y.™ Mary is the recipient of the CAREERS and the disABLED Magazine’s National 2016 Employee of the Year Award.
